Well it's finally nearing to it's start....My 3 Month Journey..
Still a bit to take care of....Visa's....(just for anyone travelling to India...beware...their visa's take a few weeks so don't leave it too late)....Money...Clothes...packing...the normal.
How do you prepare yourself for 3 months of travel....especially when you've never really travelled!!
Thank God i let the whole shoe issue go years ago!!! Now that would have got me into trouble..and taken up way too much room in my little bitty suit case....
Nerves are starting to kick in...the whole, jump from one plane to another...International to domestic...new country...different culture....
Now just to give a run down on the 3 Month Experiece planned.....and for those of you who weren't really listening when you asked....here goes...oh, for those who aren't interested...or who've heard it way too many times before (Lynnie i know you've got it down pat!!)...feel free to comment or come back at a later date for an updated blog chat....(is that a real term or something i just made up...)

3rd November Brisbane to India - Yoga Teacher Training at Ashiyana Retreat, Goa, India.....My zen time...
6th December India to Thailand - few days of me time (like i won't be over that in 1.1 seconds!!)...then on the 12th December i'm off to the wonderful land of WWFT (Wildlife Friends of Thailand) and 3 weeks caring and playing with the Elephants. Many of the rescued elephants have endured decades of backbreaking work carrying tourists in elephant camps and 'attractions', and the Elephant Refuge and Education Centre is their sanctuary, somewhere they no longer have to 'perform' or be treated unnaturally....just remember that if you ever go to Thailand and think about riding an elephant....instead think about donating that money to the refuge that supports their natural habitat....
Christmas and New Years will also be celebrated with these beautiful Giants.
3rd January, 2011....Fly out of Thailand and into Vietnam...travel to my placement with the Orphans and start my 3 weeks of Love and Care for those less fortunate....
I know it all sounds very giving and caring....but between me and you...I selfishly get to experience that which i miss on a day to day basis....being a part of something that matters and loving freely...
I am truly excited and will keep you all posted as to my butterflies and all the boring bits about packing and unpacking, and packing and repacking....
Your part in this grand scheme of Blogging....keep me posted with your life...your thoughts, your advise...
